Blended from naturally gluten free ingredients use this flour as an alternative to bread flour made from wheat. Follow our recipes to make brown bread in your oven or bread machine.

Using this 1kg size pack you can bake half a dozen cakes without any gluten. (Remember to keep all gluten free utensils and cooking separate from wheat products)

About Doves Farm FREEE

It started in 1978 when my husband and I first began milling flour and my mother was advised to follow a gluten free diet. At the time, gluten free living looked very different to how it does now and free-from products were nowhere to be found in our local shops.  

Unsurprisingly, mealtimes became a real challenge. After all, don’t we all want to tuck into delicious food without worrying if it is safe to eat? Above all, my mother missed bread and cakes, so out of necessity I took my love of baking and began to experiment with naturally gluten free grains and flours to learn if and how, these could be used to make delicious gluten free bakes.  

As time passed and I developed more recipes, my own children became my harshest critics. There were many moments of tea time judgement, when I waited for the unanimous sounds of enjoyment from around the kitchen table which would indicate the success of a recipe. I would regularly go back to the drawing board, to re-write and re-bake recipes until everyone was happily tucking into brownies, pancakes, pizza and much more. And so, our first gluten free flour blend was created and more would soon follow as I discovered how blending the right quantities of naturally gluten free flours could create gluten free versions of anything from plain, to self-raising and even bread flours.  

Fast forward to today and we have a whole range of gluten free foods, from Flour to Baking Mixes, Breakfast Cereals to Pasta and much more. As FREEE, we are still creating new products, each driven by our same original vision to make gluten free living simpler. Our aim is to not only share our gluten free expertise, but to bring back the joy and pleasures of home baking and cooking, and the freedom to have fun experimenting in the kitchen again - for anyone living gluten free.
