The Tre Marie Colomba Tradizionale is a typical Easter Cake, born in Milan. This traditional dove-shaped cake is sweet-tasting and similar to Panettone Milanese, served with a crunchy almond icing, decorated with large almonds and granulated sugar.
This Colomba cake is produced with the classic recipe with candied Sicilian orange peel to produce a truly authentic and very fragrant cake.
The Colomba classic Tre Marie is hand-wrapped, made with whole almonds.

About Tre Marie
Located in the heart of Milano, Tre Marie has been baking traditional Italian treats for more than a century, including colomba, a rich and fluffy cake only made for Easter. Today, in time for Pasqua, they’ve shared with us their secret ingredient: a manifesto of goodness.
This manifesto reaches back to the original “Quattro Marie,” a religious order started by four women who roamed the streets of Milano in the 12th century, giving sweet breads to the needy. Inspired by their work, Tre Marie pledged to share their values when it opened in the very same building where the order’s bread was baked centuries earlier.
Today, Tre Marie is celebrated for continuing to prepare their Christmas panettoni and Easter colombe according to local tradition. Artisanal pastry chefs combine quality ingredients into a simple dough, allow it to rise for three days, shape it into a dove, add toppings, and bake the cake.
