Ocelot Organic 70% Dark Chocolate Lemon Olive Oil Chocolate Bar.
A stunningly smooth and fragrant dark chocolate bar generously infused with Puglian lemon olive oil. The oil is made at a family mill where they stone-grind whole fresh organic lemoms along with the olives at harvest time, resulting in a perfumed, grass-green elixir that elevates our 70% dark chocolate to another level of deliciousness.
The cocoa beans used to make this chocolate are grown organically by a regenerative cooperative in the forests of Virunga National Park in Eastern Congo
The olive oil is made at the De Carlo family mill in Puglia, master oil makers since 1600. Here the olives are lovingly harvested from centuries old olive trees, as in a sacred ritual, and then stone-ground along with organic lemons within a few hours of picking. The result is a soft green elixir, full of the fragrance of this unique land.
Our 70% chocolate is made with rare Amelonado cocoa beans, organically grown by a regenerative cooperative in the rainforest of Virunga National Park, Eastern Congo.

All packaging is plastic-free. Outer packaging is printed on sustainable card. Inner film is home and industrial compostable.

Ocelot was founded in 2013 by us, Matt and Ish, in our Edinburgh kitchen...
Inspired by our mutual passion for fine food, we went on a culinary journey that took us cooking around Europe, and culminated in us forming a craft chocolate company. This was something we felt would perfectly express our obsession with both fine food, and beautiful design (Ish is an Illustration graduate and does the designing!).
More than a decade on, our chocolate is now made by a small team in our micro factory in the heart of Dundee, Scotland. Here we take pride in fusing the world’s best ingredients with the world’s best - and most ethical - chocolate.

Colour and form have always been at the visual heart of our brand, but we are more than just pretty packaging. Ocelot was created with the express intention of producing beautiful and delicious chocolate with minimal environmental impact.
All of our chocolate is certified organic, made with unrefined cane sugar, and never contains preservatives or emulsifiers.
