Gilchesters Organics

Gilchesters Organics is a traditional stone milling family business that's provided a range of fine flours, grains and semolina from heritage, and ancient grains for over 17 years.

Gilchesters' choice of heritage wheat grains as well as the rye, spelt and even older Emmer and Einkorn cereals is the result of painstaking research into organic crop husbandry in the UK over the last twenty years. Milling only organic cereals allows Gilchesters to produce the food people want in harmony with our surroundings.

Modern farming production methods often ignore the fundamental principal of growing crops and livestock within the natural constraints of the land.

Regenerative agriculture is at the heart of everything that Gilchesters Organics do. The grains used are grown with the rotation of crops and animals on each field designed to ensure the soils are never depleted of naturally occurring minerals and nutrients.
