Joe’s passion for the finest cuppa begins on small organic tea plantations nestled high up in the misty hills of Dyatalawa, Sri Lanka. This is where Joe sources all his tea because, unlike other tea blends, a cup of Joe’s tea is brewed up with 100% organic Ceylon loose tea leaves – for the most outstanding, pure and fresh flavour possible.

Not always one to take the ‘easy route’, Joe’s commitment to only using Ceylon tea means he goes that extra mile (well 5,399 miles to be precise) to source from – and support – precious plantations that are now a rarity, due to the amount of hands-on effort that goes into their organic farming.

Our organic tea and ingredients are ethically and sustainably sourced mostly from small hold farmers, always bought directly and purchased above fair trade price. As a business, we take a holistic approach and we’re constantly analysing our practices across the entire supply chain to promote continual improvement. The pressure is on for a manufacturer to create the perfect eco-friendly, biodegradable pyramid tea bag made without the use of GMOs and that is approved by the Soil Association, and as soon as this is available we will use it, immediately.
