Ratton Pantry Pizza Workshops & Courses – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Ratton Pantry workshops and courses (the “Courses”) held at our Eastbourne space next to our current warehouse (the “Venue”). By booking a place, you agree to the following:
1) Bookings & Payment
Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received (or, where offered, once a deposit/payment plan has been agreed and the initial payment is received).
Prices are as advertised at the time of booking and include VAT where applicable (if VAT applies to your business).
2) Cancellations by You (Refund Policy)
Cancellations must be made in writing (email is fine) and are effective from the date/time we receive your notice.
-
7 days or more before the Course start date: 100% refund of paid Course fees.
-
Between 3 and 7 days before the Course start date: 50% refund of paid Course fees.
-
Within 3 days of the Course start date (including same-day cancellations/no-shows): No refund.
Refunds, where due, will be issued to the original payment method.
3) Transfers & Substitutions
If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your place to another person at no extra cost, provided you notify us in advance and they meet any age/health & safety requirements.
If a Course includes any dietary elements, please ensure the substitute attendee provides dietary information before attending.
4) Cancellations or Changes by Ratton Pantry
We aim to run all Courses as advertised, but we may need to reschedule, change instructors, adjust content slightly, or (rarely) cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., illness, supplier failure, venue issues, severe weather).
If we cancel a Course, you will be offered either:
a full refund, or
an alternative date (subject to availability).
Our liability is limited to the Course fees paid; we do not cover travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.
5) Attendance, Punctuality & Conduct
Please arrive on time. Late arrival may mean you miss key sections and we may not be able to repeat content.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be due.
6) Health, Safety & Allergies
Courses involve hot ovens, sharp tools, and food preparation. You must follow instructor guidance and safety instructions at all times.
You are responsible for informing us of relevant allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions at the time of booking (or as soon as possible).
While we take reasonable steps to manage allergens, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
7) Dietary Requirements
If your Course includes tasting/food, please notify us of dietary requirements in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but this may not always be possible depending on the format and ingredients.
Where accommodation isn’t possible, normal cancellation terms apply.
8) Photography & Marketing
We may take photos or short videos during Courses for marketing (e.g., social media, website).
If you prefer not to appear in any imagery, please tell a member of the team at the start of the session and we’ll accommodate.
9) Intellectual Property & Course Materials
Any handouts, recipes, and teaching materials remain the property of Ratton Pantry (and/or the instructor).
Materials are for personal use only and must not be reproduced, shared, or used commercially without written permission.
10) Personal Property
Please keep your personal belongings with you. Ratton Pantry is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items at the Venue, except where required by law.
11) Data Protection
We handle your personal data in line with applicable UK data protection law. We use your details to administer your booking and communicate essential Course information.
12) Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
