Shipton Mill Organic GLUTEN-FREE Millet Flour
Shipton Mill Organic GLUTEN-FREE Millet Flour, now available at Ratton Pantry and forming part of a larger selection of Shipton Mill's incredible artisan flours.
Millet Flour is a medium to fine gluten-free flour milled from the pale, golden seed of a grass, it is high in magnesium and has a lovely creamy texture.
Millet is a good source of protein, fiber, key vitamins, and minerals. The potential health benefits of millet include protecting cardiovascular health, preventing the onset of diabetes, helping people achieve and maintain a healthy weight, and managing inflammation in the gut.
Soft and subtly flavoured millet is very good in gluten-free baking and can be substituted for maize where you need a corn-free recipe. Combine it with white rice flour and tapioca starch for a basic blend.
Please note that due to the high oil content, Millet Flour has a considerably shorter shelf life than other gluten-free flours, and will come with approximately 1-2 months of use from purchase.
Packed on premises that handles nuts (including peanuts), seeds, cereals, soya & products containing gluten.
This product contains no gluten, but it is not packed in a gluten-free environment. However, we make every effort to ensure no cross-contamination occurs.
Please be aware that if you order Gluten-Free flour at the same time as other flours, they may be packed together in the same box.
