Spelt is an ancient grain closely related to Emmer. The origins of spelt can be traced to Neolithic times between 6000 – 5000BC.
Shipton Mill Organic White Spelt Flour produces a wonderful nutty flavoured white bread and can also be used as an all-purpose white flour for pastries, cakes and sauces.
Shipton Mill's Organic White Spelt Flour is free from any additives. Only certain varieties of wheat need to be fortified, and White Spelt flour is not one of them!
